April, 20XX:
It had been years since the golden era of mermaid princesses, had lost their status. Since then, seven new mermaid princess had been born from their pearls: The pink pearl princess; the orange pearl princess; the yellow pearl princess; the green pearl princess; the aquamarine pearl princess; the deep blue pearl princess; and the purple pearl princess. Each one fulfilled their duties to the best of their abilities. That was, until, disaster struck. And evil organization decided to attempt to kill the seven princesses, so that their ruler could become ruler of the seven seas. The princesses managed to escape to land, but the true struggle has yet to come. The girls now need to hide their identities (so they don’t turn into bubbles), manage a school and social life, and defeat enemies by becoming magical idols and singing, all at the same time! What will happen next?
Rules:
Follow all forum and rp section rules.
No Godmodding or metagaming, and limit one liners.
You can play as both canon characters and ocs, but for ocs please refer to the OOC/character thread, so we can learn about your character
There’s no need to watch Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch before you join the rp if you haven’t already, however a basic grasp of the idea behind it would be appreciated (I think I’ve already said the major things in the rp description and in the OOC thread)
If you don’t want to/can’t continue playing in this rp, please let me know through PM or the OOC thread.

Episode One: I want my feelings to reach the Ocean!
A pink tail swished by the sea, and a pink dolphin looked up at it concerningly.
"Coral-sama, you must stay here. If you don't... who knows what would happen? You could be killed!" The dolphin squeaked.
"But Momo-chan, I want to go home! I can't just leave the ocean in danger, and not do anything!" The owner of the tail said, and as the camera paned it was revealed the owner was a blue haired mermaid, who wore a pink necklace in the shape of a pearl around her neck, and was sitting on a rock by the beach. Momo shook her head.
"You'd just be causing even more trouble by returning, Coral-sama. Please, it's for both your sake and ours."
"But I-" the mermaid started, but then looked down. "Right." She said somenly, seemingly disappointed. Momo-chan looked at her with a concerned look on her face, before swimming back to her kingdom. Coral sighed, before changing into her human form, where her hair became shorter and darker, and she gained legs. In this form, she kept her necklace, but wore a white lacy crop top, with demin shorts. She jumped from the rock to the sand, and looked out to the distance, unsure of what was happening, why it was happening, and why she couldn't help fight, despite wanting to protect her kingdom no matter what.
OOC: I know there's only two characters atm, but I wasn't sure if anyone else would be interested, so I decided to start. If you are interested, feel free to create a character sheet. I'll be creating the main villain and one of their sidekicks today or tommorrow. Tag anyone

The wavy-haired blond with mid-back length hair had a sad look on her face as she listened to what seemed to be another mermaid of the South Pacific. This one was the former South Pacific Mermaid Princess Coco. Coco: "Chisa-Chan you must listen to me." Chisa: "What is it Coco-sama?" Coco: "You must stay on this island while I investigate what's going on. I realize you want to help, but this organization that attacked our kingdom is trying to kill all the new Mermaid Princesses. I can't let that happen. You will be my successor. If either you or one of the other Mermaid Princesses are captured or killed, the peace of the Oceans that we have enjoyed for so long until the attacks will never happen again. Find the other Mermaid Princesses and they will help you out. Someday, you will be able to return to your kingdom, until then I need you to stay here and look for the other Mermaid Princesses. The Pearl will protect you like it protected me. Make me proud Chisa-Chan and everything will turn out at the end. Just do your best! Make some friends and believe in them and trust in them." Chisa: *Nods with tears in her eyes.* "I will Coco-Sama! I will make you proud! I will find the other Mermaid Princesses and together we will all save the seven kingdoms." Coco: *Smiles as she embraces the young mermaid.* "I know you will make me proud as well as all the other former Mermaid Princesses. Go on and do your best." *With those final words, Coco kissed Chisa on the cheek as she returned to the sea.* Chisa wiped her tears away, transformed into her Human form:  and jumped over to the shore in search of more Mermaid Princesses. She held her Pendant close to her heart and sighed as she went to find the other Mermaid Princesses. Chisa: "I will do my best Coco-Sama! I will find the other Mermaid Princesses and make you and all the others proud." *Once she is on shore Chisa starts to look around to see if she can find any of the other Mermaid Princesses.* OOC: Tag Anyone. |

Coral grabbed a piece of paper from her pocket. One of her maids had given her it just before she had left with Momo, claiming it was the details of what to do once she arrived on the shore.
"Dear Coral-sama,
If you are reading this, you most likely have made it safely to the land of humans. While you are there, you should look for the other six mermaid princesses. To help you, we have arranged for you to go to a boarding school. As long as Momo-chan dropped you off at the correct place, it should be the closest school. Once all seven mermaid princesses have been gathered, you'll be able to fight against this organization that's been terrorising the seven seas.
~Nanami Lucia?!"
Coral read out as she skimmed through the letter, but shouted the last part out, due to surprise. Nanami Lucia?! As in, the previous pink pearl princess, Nanami Lucia?! Coral couldn't believe it. The only contact Coral had ever had with Lucia was when Lucia handed over her pearl, after becoming the new Aqua Regina. Not that Coral could blame her, being Aqua Regina seemed like it had the power to make you lose all free time. But, at the same time, why did Lucia-dono decide to write this letter? Was this mission so important? She clasped the letter in her hand, before turning back to the sea.
"I'll do my best!" She shouted, before running in the direction her new school was, crying a little.

Chisa then remembered one more thing that Coco told her before she returned to the ocean...
Flashback to before Coco returned to the Sea...
Coco: "There is a boarding school nearby once you get on the island."
Chisa: "Huh? Where?"
Coco: "Not too far from where you are." *Whispers directions to the boarding school into Chisa's ear then backs away.* "You are sure to find the other Mermaid Princesses at that Boarding School. Do your best to make everyone proud. I will see you again Chisa-Chan."
Chisa: *Smiles and nods* "I will do my best! I will make everyone in my Kingdom proud!"
Coco: "I know you will." *Returns to the Sea.*
End of Flashback...
Back to present time...
Chisa: *Starts to head toward the school that Coco talked about.* "Yes! I will do my best Coco-Sama!" *continues toward the school.*

"So it's Izumi Spring?" The lady at the reception desk held up her glasses and looked at the girl standing in front of her.
"Uh. No!I'm Thoebelle letterman the 3rd!" she complained in mock anger.
"Sarcasm noted"She said,in a monotone voice,then she looked at the papers on her desk
"Your dorm is room 4-In the girls dorm!"She adds,before Izumi could get any ideas.
Izumi grabs her bag and runs to the girls dorms,before cartwheeling into the room marked '4'. When she gets in she fishes her phone out of her bag-It's shaped like a starfish-and tells it "I'm here. You can come out now"The phone breathes a sigh of relief,before turning into a starfish "It's so tiring holding my mouth open like that" "You only have to do that when i have you out!"

On the same beach but much further from the water.
Michiyo: *shivers* I hate the water.......*starts to leave when she see's other girls one rocks* what do they think their doing....that's dangerous.....I should probably stay to make sure they don't get hurt.....HEY YOU GIRLS BE CAREFUL!

As Coral hopped across some rocks to get to the shore, she heard somebody shout at her, telling her to be careful. She pouted, not liking the thought of being bossed around. The ocean wasn't dangerous, and how else was she supposed to get to shore?! Coral speedwalked across the rocks, determined to prove Michiyo wrong, but as she stepped off the final rock, she lost her balance, due to her lack of practise using her legs. She fell, but quickly got up, red in the face.

Chisa listened to the other girls warning and was careful, but then she saw Coral fall then get up red in the face. Chisa was genuinely surprised she could walk without a problem. I guess the times she went with Coco to the surface helped her out a bit. Chisa rushed over to Coral wondering if she was okay.
Chisa: *Arrives beside Coral and looks at her worriedly.* "Are you okay? Coco told me there was a school nearby, do you know where it is? By the way, my name is Narumi Chisa." *Holds her pendant close to her heart as she notices the pendant around Coral's neck and gasps.* "Hold on a minute, you came out of the water like I did? Are you one of the ones I'm supposed to find?"
*Glances over toward Michiyo with a questioning look on her face as she thinks to herself.* 'Is she one of us also? Does that mean I found two other Mermaid Princesses right off the bat?'
*Chisa then yells over toward Michiyo.* "Who are you?"

Izumi hears someone about to come in and shoves the starfish in her bag,then she throws the bag at a wall.
Then she kicks it.

"Coco...?" Coral asked, dumbfounded. This strange girl suddenly started talking her, which was weird. She then looked towards the boarding school.
"I think there's one over there..." She replied to Chisa's question about the boarding school, before continuing to listen.
"Eh?! From the sea?! T-that's crazy talk!" Coral spluttered out, lying. She had to play it safe, this could be a water demon or something. The necklace? It could have been a fake. The chances were low, but she had to play it safe.

As Chisa was walking toward the Boarding School with Coral, a thought crossed her mind, she told Coral her name, but Coral never told Chisa what her name is.
Chisa: "Um, miss I never did get your name. If we are going to be going to school with each other we should at least know each other's names. In case you forgot my name, here it is, my name is Narumi, Chisa. You can just call me Chisa. What's your name?"

The Coco's voice entered her mind as her words echoed in a Flashback to when Coco told her to go to the surface to be safe...
Coco: "you will know that the person you are looking for is a Mermaid Princess when you mention something about the sea in any way. A Mermaid Princess will never let anyone know they are a Mermaid Princess even if it is a Mermaid Princess. That way you will know that you found one of them, however don't act so suspicious."
Chisa: "Understood Coco-Sama! Have no fear, I will do my best to find the other Mermaid Princesses to bring back peace to the Seven Seas."
Coco then nods in understanding and goes back to her own mission.
End of Flashback.

The Boarding school was now in sight as Chisa and Coral were almost at the front door. Chisa found out, not directly, but indirectly that Coral was a Mermaid Princess from the way that Coco explained the situation to her right before she was forced to leave her kingdom. Chisa had to figure out a way for Coral to trust her. She decided to continue to talk to this girl, remembering not to act suspicious anymore. Her suspicions were correct about the girl she was walking wish, but she wasn't going to pry anymore.
"So um, if we are to be set up in dorms, would you like to be my roommate? I think we could be great friends. We can have sleepovers, pajama parties, Pillow Fights. It will be so much fun. Hey have an idea why don't you sing with me, it's such a nice day, that I feel like singing."
Chisa then started singing some lyrics to The Legend of the Mermaid hoping to get Coral to sing with her. The voice coming out of Chisa's mouth was very beautiful. Hopefully, this girl will come to realize that she can be trusted, because only certain beings know the words to this song.

Rina has a worried look on her face as she pets her Whale. She decides to talk to the whale. "Where did Michiyo go after she left her? I haven't heard from her in years. I hope she's okay. She better be taking care of the Pearl I gave her. I don't know where she is, but I think I know who does. I'll see you later." Rina then kisses her whale and heads off to see if her old friend would have any idea where her successor is.
Rina thinks to herself: 'I can't believe I haven't heard from Michiyo since I gave my Pearl to her. Where could she be. She hasn't called, she hasn't written, or anything. If I ever find her she has some explaining to do! She has a duty to fulfill. Why did she have to take off like that?'
Even if the North Atlantic Kingdom is in ruins, she has to help bring it back to life. Even if it means her re-taking the mantle of Mermaid Princess herself. Although, in order to do that she had to try and find the Green Pearl. She then heads off to Lucia's castle wondering if her old friend can give her some insight on where Michiyo was at.
*Rina then makes her way to where Lucia is living now after becoming Aqua Regina. She has to talk to her. She swims up to the castle doors and knocks on them. She has to find out where her successor went.*
*Rina knocks on the castle doors.*
