What Ryan would see wasn't the lovestruck look that he's used to on Suiko's face, but concern. Suiko didn't attempt to flirt or anything. Akiza also had a serious look on her face.

Akiza: *Looks around seeing that the coast is clear from Innocent Civilians. Once she determined the coast was clear, she spoke up.* "We saw this weird projection of some guy saying he wants to get rid of all the Precure and their enemies because he doesn't see them as heroes, he sees them as threats. Did you see anything like that while you were out?"
Suiko: "Yeah, it seems weird that somebody would want to get rid of Precure and their enemies for some reason. I don't understand why anyone would want to do that."
Silver: *Speaks up for once* "The guy said he was from some place called, the company. I have no idea what that means."

Ryan: I’m fine........i was just visiting my brother in the hospital that’s all.....
Gold: I didn’t know that.......
Emiko: is he ok.....
Ryan: well you see......he’s always been sickly ever since the day he was born and 2 years ago he became really sick so my dad got a job in America to help pay for his hospital bills.......and that’s what lead to me being with just Mikoto.
